Flight Test Engineering (Instrumentation): Experienced flight test engineer specializing in instrumentation and data acquisition systems. Skills include preflighting and postflighting data system, operating and monitoring data system during flight, preparing data system for flight test program, and restoring aircraft back to production configuration after conclusion of flight test program. Experience includes operating and monitoring data system during 300+ flights.
Proficiency, Training, and Development: Leader for proficiency and training program for instrumentation program. Led development of three guidelines for proficiency development. Performed proficiency checkouts of early career engineers.
Mechanical Design Engineering: Experienced using a variety of solid modeling and drawing software applications. Skilled at CATIA V5, SolidWorks, Creo, and Autocad. Knowledgeable in applying GD&T in accordance with ASME Y14.5-1994 to engineering drawings. Experienced in designing 50+ mechanical installations, considering manufacturing methods, ease of installation, and reducing manufacturing cost.
Technical Leadership and Excellence: Technical leader professionally and personally. Led Instrumentation team for 737-10 flight test. Led team to safely conduct hazardous materials testing for the Boeing Lab Test Value Stream.
